When a TransAsia Airways plane crashed into a river in Taiwan's capital city on Wednesday, at least 26 on board were killed. Flight 235 clipped a bridge and a vehicle on a highway before crashing into the shallow Keelung River. Most of the travelers were from China

Rescuers in Taipei searched into the night for the 17 people aboard the plane who were still missing. Rescuers pulled 15 people alive from the wreckage on Wednesday, and a crane was used to lift the wreckage from the river.
