Confide, which bills itself as sort of a Snapchat for executives, has added the ability to send photos and documents through its ephemeral app as it looks to capture more professionals in need of a secure, private way to communicate.
The app is the brainchild of Jon Brod, formerly CEO of local reporting site Patch, and Howard Lerman, co-founder of Yext. Launched in January 2014 with only messaging, Confide now allows users to send various document files including photos, PDFs, Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents from Box, Dropbox and Google Drive
