The great blizzard of 2015 turned out to be a bust for New York City, but just as East Coast residents begin to let their collective weather guard down, a new storm is predicted to dump large amounts of snow on the region Sunday into Monday


But after inaccurate predictions of 2 to 3 feet of snow in New York last week, weather forecasters appear to be chastened, offering far less dire predictions regarding travel conditions, and striking far more conservative tones when mentioning potential snow totals



Despite last week's miscalculations, however, this new storm is very real and, according to AccuWeather, is predicted to bring up to a foot of snow to Chicago, Cleveland, Massachusetts and the New York City area by Monday, coinciding with Groundhog Day. Read more...
