After yet another winter storm pummeled Boston this weekend, the home of the Red Sox has been swallowed by snow.
In the past several weeks, the city has been hammered by a series of relentless snowstorms that have smashed snowfall records and made daily life difficult for winter-weary Bostonians. The city has seen nearly eight feet of snow and counting this winter. Although we're only 16 days into the month, February is already Boston's snowiest month on record.
The historic stadium, including its field and much of its bleachers, is covered beneath mountains of snow. According to a Twitter message from the Weather Channel's Jim Cantore, the snow pile reaches the top of the right-field wall. Read more...
