Many likely 2016 Republican presidential candidates have expressed opinions about mandatory vaccination this week amid a measles outbreak in the United States
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie kicked things off on Monday when he said parents should have “some measure of choice” to decide whether to vaccinate their kids.
But the vaccine question isn’t the first time potential GOP candidates have taken on questions of science
Below are quotes from the possible candidates, suggesting where they stand on vaccines, climate change and evolution.

VACCINES Encouraged “Parents ought to make sure their children are vaccinated,” Bush said on Feb. 4CLIMATE CHANGE May be real; unsure if manmade “I think global warming may be real,” Bush said in 2011. “Whether it’s man-made or not is the point…It is not unanimous amongst scientists that it is disproportionately man-made.” EVOLUTION Doesn't have to be taught "I think people have different points of view and they can be discussed in school," Bush said in 2005.
