The "Blizzard of 2015" may not have lived up to the hype in New York City, but the past week's snowfall is setting records in other cities in the midwest and Northeast.
Boston experienced the snowiest seven-day period it has ever had, with 40.2 inches recorded by the National Weather Service. In just a week, the city went from having below average snowfall for the season to having 10 inches more than average yearly snowfall.

About 20 inches fell in Chicago; O'Hare International Airport received 16.2 inches of snowfall, which is the most for any day in February. About 70% of flights at the airport were cancelled on Sunday and 42% were cancelled on Monday, according to FlightAware. The storm hit Boston Logan Airport hard on Monday, causing 68% of flights to be cancelled. Read more...
