LONDON — BT is set to dominate the UK mobile market after finalising a deal Thursday worth £12 billion ($18.3 billion)
EE has the most mobile subscribers in the UK market. The deal means BT will be able to offer bundles of mobile, landline, broadband and TV services, known as "quad play" packages, to its customers. It also allows the company to distribute content across multiple platforms
EE, which was the first company in the UK to offer 4G mobile services alongside fibre broadband, runs the EE Orange and T-Mobile brands, serving 24.5 million mobile and 834,000 fixed broadband customers. BT has more than 10 million retail customers. Read more...
