Twitter to offer promoted tweets on Flipboard and Yahoo Japan

Pretty soon you won't need to be on Twitter to see Twitter advertising.

With its earnings call just two days away, Twitter announced that its promoted tweets will soon be popping up on Flipboard and Yahoo Japan, its first two partners for non-Twitter-based promoted tweets

For example, say Nissan ran a promoted tweet campaign on Twitter but wanted to also reach a similar audience on Flipboard. Now, Nissan can do both
