Cuba

In a bit of techno-media diplomacy, Netflix announced on Monday it was making its service available in Cuba.


The company will offer a "broad range of great global entertainment" to Cuban consumers for $7.99 a month, the company announced in a blog post. That includes House of Cards, Orange is the New Black and DreamWorks Animation's All Hail King Julien, among other titles



It's not clear whether Netflix will scrub titles like Che, CheVolution and Fidel: The Untold Story that reference the past and current political leadership in Cuba from its Cuban streaming service. Netflix reps couldn't be reached for comment Read more...
