I’m a fitness tracking noob. As a New York City native, I walk to everything. I walk several blocks to my supermarket and laundromat. I frequently walk across several long avenues from the East River to the Hudson River on the West Side. Walking 28 blocks from Times Square to Union Square? It ain’t no thang.
I don’t track my daily activity with a fitness band. I don’t need a fitness band to reassure me that I’m doing enough daily activity — my aching legs remind me every weekend. Plus, I don’t even need to lose weight. I’m already skinny enough as it is.
